What is Human Performance Technology (HPT)?

HPT draws on many disciplines, such as instructional systems design, organizational development and change management. It focuses on utilizing methods and procedures for holistic development which “improve the work, worker, workplace and/or world” (Van Tiem, Moseley, & Dessinger, 2012, pp. 5).

This is done by diagnosing organizational and individual performance issues that hinder growth and produce subpar results. Once evaluations have been conducted, various solutions that help drive change and assist in meeting organizational and business goals are presented.

About the Project
